Terms of Service.

By registering for or using the KeyVend app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use KeyVend.

KeyVend is a digital access and estate-management platform that allows residents of participating estates to: generate and share visitor access codes, fund and manage a wallet for estate service charges and levies, purchase water tokens, view assigned vehicle and access card records, and receive communications from estate administrators.

KeyVend accounts are for individuals who are residents (Primary or Secondary occupants) of a unit within a participating estate. New accounts are subject to review and approval by your estate's administrators before becoming active; we may decline or disable an account at the estate administrator's direction.

You must provide accurate registration information and verify your phone number via one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and visitor-invitation PIN confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Payments made through KeyVend (service charge and levy payments, water token purchases) are processed by Paystack. By making a payment, you authorize KeyVend and Paystack to process that transaction.

Service charges and levies are obligations owed to your estate under your estate's own governance rules; KeyVend is the payment and record-keeping channel, not the party setting those amounts. Paying through KeyVend does not waive any separate obligation you have directly to your estate.

Water token purchases and levy/service charge payments are non-refundable once processed, except where required by law or at your estate administrator's discretion.

You are responsible for who you invite using KeyVend-generated visitor codes, and for the accuracy of the access windows you set. Sharing a visitor code is the same as authorizing that person's entry — do not share codes with anyone you don't want granted access. Misuse of visitor codes (including sharing codes to enable unauthorized access) may result in account suspension.

KeyVend provides a digital layer for managing access codes and, where your estate has connected compatible hardware, interfaces with physical gate/door access systems. KeyVend does not guarantee uninterrupted physical security — actual gate operation depends on your estate's own hardware, network connectivity, and security personnel, which are outside KeyVend's control. KeyVend is a tool to support your estate's security operations, not a replacement for them.

You agree not to: use KeyVend to facilitate unauthorized access to the estate, attempt to circumvent account verification or payment processing, interfere with other residents' use of the app, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

KeyVend depends on network connectivity, third-party payment processing, and (where applicable) physical hardware maintained by your estate. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for service interruptions caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including internet connectivity, power availability, or third-party service outages.

Your estate's administrators may suspend or disable your account (including changing your status to disapproved or disabled) in accordance with your estate's own governance rules. You may request closure of your account at any time by contacting support@keyvend.app or your estate administrator.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeyVend and Se7en Solutions are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including losses arising from physical security incidents, service interruptions, or actions taken by your estate's administrators.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. All dispute-resolution related issues are processed according to the law and regulations in Nigeria.

We may update these terms as KeyVend's features change. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
